Trauma-Informed Sensitivity Training

How do you support survivors who disclose sexual violence? 

What is an appropriate first response? 

Trauma-Informed Sensitivity Training guides professionals in understanding the impact of sexual violence on survivors. Participants will be provided with information on survivors' rights, appropriate first response, power dynamics, navigating bias, language, and existing supports available to survivors.

How do you support patients who disclose they are survivors of sexual violence? 

What sensitivity best practices should be utilized in Sexual Assault Evidence Kit examinations? 

Compassionate Care Sensitivity Training guides medical professionals on best practices for supporting survivors of sexual violence. This is inclusive of SAEK examinations, gynecological examinations, pregnancy and pregnancy loss, labor and delivery, general support and procedures.

Workplace Violence & Harassment Training

SAEF Sexual Violence and Harassment Training offers trauma-informed training compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety standards and best practices under Bill 132 (Canada). 

This training is applicable to workforces in Canada and beyond. SAEF Sexual Violence & Harassment Training utilizes an individual model and offers a  resource hub to participants.
